Women alongside women

We offer support to women involved in the sex industry past or present. We visit massage parlours, working flats and a strip club and offer regular one to one support – a non-judgmental, confidential listening ear with safety and next steps planning where a woman is seeking change, as well as holistic support to any woman affected by sexual exploitation. We offer advocacy, signposting and referrals and help with access to safe housing, drug and alcohol services, and sexual health. We offer prayer if that is welcome.

Haven

Haven is an opportunity for women who have experienced or are experiencing exploitation, gender abuse, or women who have had extreme adverse experiences to discover connection with others in a safe, relaxed, private space. Guests receive a warm welcome, some great refreshments and a range of activities including beauty treatments, crafts, discussions, and informative sessions. For the safety of the women who come along, Haven can be accessed by referral only.

We run Haven in partnership with Portsmouth City of Sanctuary and The Medaille Trust Moving on Project.
