We want to see a society that is sustainable, with a future for all.

The Diocese of Portsmouth has committed to net zero carbon emissions by 2030. We want to play our part in climate action and see sustainable change in Gosport, Portsmouth & for the benefit of everyone, everywhere!

What we've done so far

All disposable utensils and food service to be recyclable,
Vegetarian/vegan options available at all events,
LED lighting installed at our Gunwharf location,
Cycle racks installed at our Gunwharf location.

What we plan to do

LED lighting installed in all church building and offices,
Fairtrade and locally sourced options used whenever possible.

Change to our culture

One Sunday a term dedicated to Eco Church at Harbour Kids,
The requirement for environmental justice and caring for God’s creation evident in Harbour teaching series,
Continued steps made towards achieving A Rocha Eco Church award.
